If you are working in the Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Cairns areas, and you currently hold a TAE40110 Qualification, you need to upgrade to the new TAE40116 Training and Assessment qualification upgrade so you can continue to work as a trainer and assessor in the industry.   In the areas mentioned above, Success Training Academy (STA) offers the TAE40116 Training and Assessment qualification upgrade, in partnership with Healthy Business Training Academy (RTO #: 30831).   This Training and Assessment upgrade course and requirement was implemented beginning on 1 April 2019. One of the competencies to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course at Success Training Academy (STA) is to make a presentation (BSBCMM401A Make a presentation).   What does it mean and take to prepare and make a presentation? No matter how compelling the message is, if the speaker can’t present it and visualise it in a simple way, the speaker will be met with a sea of blank faces during your delivery.   The content must be easy to follow Always remember the basics of making presentations: Introduction, body, and conclusion. Choosing the right career is no longer limited to finding out what good skills one has or what one is passionate about. It could also mean choosing between taking up a four-year tertiary course or taking vocational training.   The second factor is generally affected by a person’s financial capacity. Often, with the rising costs of traditional academic courses mounting annually, one may decide to find something suitable in Australia’s VET or Vocational Education and Training sector. Of course, there are cases wherein a person’s passion or skills may fall outside established academe.   What the VET Sector Covers According to the Parliament of Australia’s guide on the vocational and training sector, in 2017 alone, some 4.2 million students were enrolled in VET with an Australian training provider. This number represented almost a quarter of the Australian population aged 15-64 years. In comparison, there were 1.5 million higher education students…

The TAE40110 course, known previously as the standard training for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, was superseded by the TAE40116 in 2016. What does this mean for TAE40110 certificate holders currently working in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) industry?   What this means is that TAE40110 holders must enrol in the TAE40116 upgrade course and complete their new training to continue working in the VET sector. There is a deadline set, too; the first deadline (April 1, 2019) was moved to a later date (July 1, 2019) to account for the volume of trainers and assessors who require the TAE40116 upgrade.   Are there requirements for the TAE40116?   There are a few. For starters, the TAE40116 upgrade is only available to trainers and assessors who currently hold the TAE40110 certificate. Those who hold other certifications will need to take the full TAE40116 course training by July…

The government’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a new training qualification in Australia. This is usually taught and commonly taken through face to face instruction. This is one of the country’s most accredited and recognised courses, helping develop and improve the skills of workers across all industries.    The TAE40116 upgrade replaced the old industry standard for VET trainers, the TAE40110, on July 1, 2019. The course is usually done on a face to face basis despite demands for TAE40116 online classes.   A lot of prospective students wonder why Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) usually offer the TAE40116 upgrade workshop courses on a face to face basis only and not online. While many RTOs are still developing other delivery methods for the course due to its relative newness, some training centres have successfully brought the training course online.   The problem in…

The Vocational Education and Training sector, also known as the VET sector, is an Australian educational course that prepares persons to be integrated into the national workforce. They are trained on different skills that the industry would be looking to hire. This is one way for people to rise from poverty and find gainful employment.    VET provides the skills to help people join the workforce for the first time, re-join the workforce after a break, update their skills in their chosen field or move into a different career.   For this reason, the government has authorised Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to deliver the necessary training to provide the industry with much-needed professionals.   Per the Australian Government’s Study in Australia website (2018), VET course fees range from AUD$4000 to $22,000 per year. Higher-level vocational courses, including vocational graduate certificates and diplomas, may have higher fees. Of course, course fees…

People from all walks of life may rise to great heights through the VET sector, which is why various states empower Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to deliver the necessary training that develops much-needed skills within the industry.   One such training is the TAE40116, which is better known as the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The TAEASS401 hones this skill through coursework aimed at developing one’s ability to plan effectively.   TAEASS402 Assess competence This competency unit is especially crucial for the VET sector, as a good bulk of the work done in the industry involves the assessment of one’s readiness and ability to perform the professionalised skills being trained for.   Most importantly, this core competency unit trains students in identifying the hallmarks of improvement in individuals and groups, as well…

For those looking to work in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector have several options when it comes to the training they wish to take. The ideal training, though, is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, also known as the TAE40116.   What is the TAE40116?   The TAE40116 is the course code for the more comprehensive training that now supersedes the TAE40110 version of the Certificate IV. Because the TAE40116 is more structured and contains units that the TAE40110 does not, it’s strongly advised for TAE40110 certificate holders to upgrade to the newer course training for the Certificate IV.   Below are common questions asked regarding the TAE40116.   Where do I sign up for the TAE40116 Training?
